Company history

Toxi-Coop Zrt. was founded in 1982 as a joint venture of the eight, formerly state-owned Hungarian pharmaceutical companies. The company underwent several steps of privatisations. Today, Toxi-Coop is a fully privately owned contract research organisation (CRO) serving the pharmaceutical, chemical and agrochemical industries.  It has been operating two research sites (Budapest and Balatonfüred) in Hungary, totally 2,500 m2 of state-of-the-art laboratories and employs around 139 people. Toxi-Coop is renowned for its adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and ISO 9001 standards, ensuring high-quality research that complies with various regulatory bodies, including the FDA, EMA, and OECD.
